AHA (American Heart Association)  BLS (basic life support) course is for both pre-hospital and in-facility health care environments. The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.  Both single and team high-quality CPR will be taught.

Intended for healthcare providers or professional rescuers.

Time:  Approximately 3.5 hours

Certification Period:  2 years

Testing:  Skills Check-off and open resource written test required.

Course fee does not include required updated 2020 BLS student manual. You may purchase a manual through us during registration for in class ($20) or eBook or hard copy online at Shopcpr.heart.org for a less expensive option. If you decide to purchase a book, please note that you can pick them up at our office during business hours before class or the day of your class.
