ACLS HeartCode Skills Session – Part 2

This hands-on session is the final step in completing your AHA ACLS certification. Before attending, you must complete the online HeartCode ACLS course (Part 1) through the American Heart Association and email your completion certificate to CPR@IdahoAcademy.com prior to your scheduled session.

What to Expect in Part 2

The in-person skills check-off includes:

• High-Quality Adult CPR
• Airway Management
• Megacode Testing

This session is required to finalize your ACLS certification.

Designed for healthcare professionals such as:

• Physicians
• Nurses
• Paramedics
• Respiratory Therapists
• Pharmacists
  …and others as required by employer policy.
  Note: This course is not recommended for first-time ACLS students who have never attended an in-person ACLS class.

Certification

• Valid for 2 years upon successful completion.

Testing

• Skills check-off includes High-Quality BLS, Airway Management, and Megacode.
