The American Heart Association’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. The course reflects science and education from the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Intended for healthcare providers or professional rescuers in hospital and out-of-hospital settings

Time:  Approximately 3.5 hours

Certification Period:  2 years, upon completeion of all course requirements, participants will recieve a BLS Provider Course Completion card via email

Testing:  Skills Check-off and open resource written test required.

Course fee does not include required updated 2025 BLS student manual. You may purchase a manual through us during registration for in class ($20) or eBook or hard copy online at Shopcpr.heart.org for a less expensive option. If you decide to purchase a book, please note that you can pick them up at our office during business hours before class or the day of your class.
